    Track 3: SmartCities and Communities
In order to conduct its environmental due diligence requirements for nearly 100 property acquisitions along the Honolulu Rail Transit Project 5-mile City Center Corridor, the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) has implemented usage of mobile devices for data collection, web GIS visualization platforms, and enterprise relational database management systems to perform its environmental site assessments. Come and learn how HART has leveraged these technology-based solutions to allow for iterative and real-time collaboration with environmental professionals in Honolulu and the Continental U.S. Speakers will discuss how they evaluated and managed nearly 20,000 environmental records, performed data-driven impact assessments, produced nearly 100 Phase I ESAs, and transformed the project data workflow into a turn-key solution for repeated delivery and realization of significant cost savings.
